Clinical data and state rules are separate facts. Both are shown; neither is a decision.

01 Interaction with psilocybin

CR · Th

Potent, fast-acting tryptamine acting at 5-HT1A and 5-HT2A receptors. MAO-A clears it, so harmala or other MAOI combinations sharply raise exposure and can cause serotonin toxicity; a death followed 5-MeO-DMT in a harmala-containing brew. No psilocybin-combination data.

02 Pharmacology relevant to psilocybin

1 listed · counted on reports
Serotonergic
Increases serotonin activity, for example by blocking its reuptake or releasing it. Psilocybin acts on serotonin receptors, so effects can add together. With antidepressant use, the psilocybin response can be weaker. Sources [1]

What Psilodex is, and isn't.

  1. 01Psilodex summarizes published evidence and public state rules. It does not decide whether you can safely use psilocybin or take part in services, and it is not medical advice.
  2. 02Starting, stopping, or changing a medication is the prescriber's decision. Bring the report to them.
  3. 03Your searches and list stay in this browser and are not sent to us. Opening a medication's page is an ordinary web request, so our hosting providers see which page was opened. What we can and can't see.
