MAO-B selective at usual doses, losing selectivity at higher doses or transdermally; may then increase psilocin exposure (MAO-A is one clearance route). MAO inhibition can raise blood pressure with psilocybin (see tranylcypromine); serotonin toxicity is theoretical, with no reported human case.
