01 Interaction with psilocybin

ND

Not studied with psilocybin; this ketamine-like drug raises blood pressure and heart rate and causes dissociation, so added effects are possible.

Detail 2-FDCK is a ketamine-like dissociative sold as a novel psychoactive substance. In a case series of 20 people exposed to 2-FDCK (usually with other ketamine analogs), the main effects were impaired consciousness, agitation, high blood pressure and fast heart rate. Five lost consciousness or had a convulsion (Tang 2020). French reports describe mainly neurological and psychiatric effects, including dissociation, and record deaths. It has not been studied with psilocybin; combined use may add dissociation, confusion and blood pressure rise. Sources [1][2][3]

02 Pharmacology relevant to psilocybin

4 listed (1 possible) · counted on reports
Dissociative (NMDA antagonist)
Blocks NMDA receptors and can cause dissociation: feeling detached from the body or surroundings. Effects can add to psilocybin’s. Sources [2]
Psychiatric reactions
The label or source warns of psychiatric effects such as psychosis, mania, hallucinations, suicidal thoughts or severe mood or behavior changes. Psilocybin can also bring up strong emotions, so these warnings are relevant to screening. Sources [2]
Raises blood pressure or heart rate
Raises blood pressure or heart rate. Psilocybin raises both for several hours, so the effects can add. Sources [1]
Lowers seizure threshold or carries seizure riskPossible
Makes a seizure more likely, or has been linked to seizures.Possible: The source describes the effect as small, seen only in laboratory or animal studies, or theoretical. Sources [1]
