01 Interaction with psilocybin

ND

Not studied with psilocybin, and no mechanism linking them has been described.

Detail Not studied with psilocybin, and no mechanism linking them has been described. Norgestrel is a progestin; its active form is levonorgestrel. This 0.075 mg progestin-only pill has no estrogen, so the estrogen effect on psilocin clearance noted for combined pills does not apply. Also, its label states that enzyme-inducing drugs such as carbamazepine, rifampin and St. John's wort make it less effective. Sources [1][2]
