01 Interaction with psilocybin

ND

It may make psilocybin feel weaker and adds sedation (not studied with psilocybin). Separately, it is used only during procedures and wears off within hours.

Detail Remimazolam is an ultra-short-acting intravenous benzodiazepine used for procedural sedation. Its effect usually wears off within hours (half-life 37–53 min). It may add sedation and respiratory depression (slowed breathing) to opioids and other CNS depressants. Hypoxia (low oxygen), slow heart rate and low blood pressure were seen in trials. It is given only during monitored procedures; no psilocybin data exist. Sources [1]
